What is 1 credit? How is it counted?
1 credit = 1 successful text-to-speech conversion, regardless of the text length (up to the character limit). The character limit varies by language — Google Cloud supports up to 5,000 characters per request for standard voices and up to 1,000 characters for some Neural2 voices.
Do credits expire?
No! Your credits never expire. Buy them when you need them and use them at your own pace.

What are emotion styles and which voices support them?
Emotion styles (like Cheerful, Sad, Angry, Newscast etc.) are available on Google's en-US-Neural2 and en-US-Studio voices via SSML. Our converter applies these styles automatically when you select them. More languages are being added as Google expands support.
